Thank you for your participation in the Country Lane Intermediate Chess Club Tournament!

Round 1: April 12th
Round 2: April 19th
Round 3: April 26th
Round 4: May 3rd
Round 5: May 10th

Rules:
- This will be a Unrated Swiss Tournament with a Buchholz tiebreak.
- Club begins at 8:15am. Pairings will be posted at the entrance to the classroom. Have your student find their table number and color and be seated.
- Rounds will begin promptly at 8:20am. If a student arrives to their seat after this time, their match will be recorded as a loss.
- Players must touch clock with the same hand that moves a piece.
- Each player will begin with 10 minutes on their clock. If a player's clock flags (runs out of time) while time still remains for the opponent, that player with the flagged clock loses.
- Please raise your hand if you think you have a checkmate. Results will need to be recorded prior to a board being cleared.

Awards:
Trophies for First, Second, Third Place. Medals for those achieving 3+ points.
